⭐ This or That

My answer, and why.

  • Coffee ☕ or Tea 🍵

    Coffee ☕

Since I'm at university studying my degree, I drink a lot of caffeine to stay awake and feel energetic and refreshed.

  • Sunrise 🌅 or Sunset 🌇

    Sunset 🌇

I think sunsets are the most beautiful things to watch in the afternoon, in peace or with a good song, so you can take a moment to enjoy nature.

  • Beach 🏖️ or Mountains ⛰️

    Beach 🏖️

I love going to the beach in my holidays when I can afford it, to experience something different from my everyday city life.

  • Cats 🐈 or Dogs 🐕

    Dogs 🐕

Even though I have both animals as pets, and lots of them, dogs have always been my favourite animal to spend time with, play with and just interact with.

  • Studio 🎧 or Stage 🎤

    Studio 🎧

I haven't performed on stage yet, but I love the studio because that's where all the creative content truly comes alive — it's where my songs get produced, refined and demoed.

  • Spotify 🎧 or Vinyl 💿

    Spotify 🎧

In South Africa it's extremely hard to get your hands on a vinyl, or to make a vinyl for yourself.

  • Day ☀️ or Night 🌙

    Night 🌙

I'm a night owl rather than a day or morning person, and a lot of my creativity comes to me during the nighttime hours.

  • Sweet 🍫 or Savoury 🥨

    Neither — both!

I have both a sweet and a savoury tooth and I love all kinds of snacks… except for any fruit.

🎵 My Favourite Artists

TM

Tate McRae

OR

Olivia Rodrigo

TS

Taylor Swift

SG

Selena Gomez

Tate McRae, Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez have inspired me musically to test the boundaries, go into the deep end, and write extremely personal songs and release them to the world as a creative outlet.

🎤 My Creative Process

Every song starts with a single idea. Sometimes it's one sentence. Sometimes it's a melody I can't stop humming. Then I build the production around that feeling.
